CAROLINA BALDOMÁ

Carolina Baldomá is an artist specialized in photography who lives and creates her work immersively within the natural environment of the Argentinian Pampas. She explores the relationship between nature and humans through the concepts of coexistence and synchronicity.

Her artistic practice centres on alchemical experimentation with various photographic processes, revisiting the history of photography through an empirical and interdisciplinary approach. The artist has held solo exhibitions in Argentina and Uruguay, and has participated in group shows in New York, Paris, Athens, Berlin, Melbourne and Vermont. At present, she is taking part in the online exhibition Expanded Cyanotypes: New Directions in Cyanotype Making at the Griffin Museum of Photography, New England, US. Her series I was once between the sun and the moon was selected for the Griffin Museum of Photography’s 6th Annual summer public art exhibition Vision(ary) 2025 dedicated to the art of visual storytelling.
