PHOTO LONDON 2026

Preview: 13 May 2026

National Hall, Olympia, 14 May – 17 May 2026

The Living Trace

Curated presentation of works by British artist Edward Rollitt and Argentine visual artist Carolina Baldomá.

Rollitt constructs psychologically charged interiors in rural Hampshire and Baldomá makes cyanotypes in elemental collaboration with the Argentine Pampas, both practices are animated by the same understanding: that matter carries memory, and that what a photograph records is not just what was in front of the camera, but what passed between the maker and their materials.

The Tale of the Eye, the Snake and the Seed has been permanently installed at Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens.

Originally commissioned for Frieze Sculpture and presented in Regent's Park in 2025, the work now enters a lasting institutional context within Tremenheere’s distinguished landscape overlooking Mount’s Bay. Victoria Law Projects secured and oversaw the permanent placement, guiding the work’s transition from Frieze Sculpture to an institutional setting.
