FRANZ GALO
Franz Galo is a visual poet, a director of light and shadow, a traveler who sees the world not just as it is, but as it could be through the lens of elegance and emotion.
Born in France in 1981, Galo’s story began with a camera in his hands at 14 and a head full of dreams. Trained in graphic design in Paris, he soon found himself drawn to the deeper narrative potential of the still frame — and later, to the moving image. Today, he weaves those disciplines into a style that is unmistakably his: soft, warm, timeless, and quietly cinematic.
Franz splits his time between London and Paris, but his true home is anywhere beauty lives. He has roamed the world with a camera on one shoulder and a sense of wonder on the other, crafting luxurious stories for brands like Hermès, The Macallan, Viceroy, and Borgo Egnazia. His work lives at the crossroads of fashion, travel, architecture, and emotion, always seeking to capture not just the subject, but its soul.
Whether shooting the golden dust of Lanzarote or the velvet fog of the Scottish Highlands, Galo’s lens invites us to pause, look again, and see the world a little more deeply.
